To effectively have a video conversation in Firefox, you must grant access to your local camera and microphone when your call starts. If you do not grant access to you camera and mic, you will get the following message asking for permission:
Usually you grant access to your webcam and mic in the following popin. The default devices are selected, but you can selected another device if you have more than two connected. Then click on “Share Selected Devices” and you can start your conversation.
On Firefox, when you have for some reason previousy blocked access to your camera and microphone, the permission window can only be displayed by clicking on the lock next to the url bar:
Select “Always Share”. You may have to reload the page for the changes to take effect.
